Where It All Began

Long before Silvering became a brand, it was a personal search.

I've always been fascinated by silver.

Not because it was precious, but because it felt honest. It could be understated yet powerful, timeless yet contemporary. It was jewellery I could wear every day and still treasure forever.

Nearly twenty-five years ago, while I was still in college, I began searching for beautiful silver jewellery.

Instead, I found compromise.

The market was flooded with jewellery containing 30%, 50% or 70% silver. Genuine craftsmanship was difficult to find. Designs felt repetitive, stones lacked character, and quality often came second to affordability.

I wanted something different.

Whenever I needed jewellery—for a celebration, a wedding, or simply because I wanted something meaningful—I found myself sketching designs, sitting beside craftsmen, selecting every stone, and creating each piece from scratch.

Without realising it, I had already begun designing jewellery long before I started a jewellery brand.

One thought stayed with me through the years.

If I cannot find what I truly believe in, perhaps I should create it.

Design Is Personal

The Birth of Silvering

Before founding Silvering, I spent over fifteen years in advertising, working alongside some of the country's most respected agencies and brands.

Advertising taught me something that continues to shape everything we create today.

People don't connect with products.

They connect with stories.

Every campaign began with understanding people—their aspirations, emotions, memories and dreams.

When I finally decided to build Silvering, I carried that philosophy with me.

We work exclusively with 925 to 999 sterling silver, because quality should never be compromised.

Our collections feature carefully selected natural gemstones, freshwater pearls, South Sea pearls and, where a design calls for it, premium lab-grown diamonds and exceptional 5A-grade stones.
